The Invisible Man background

The Invisible Man

The pilot episode of the TV series reimagines the concept of invisibility, departing from H.G. Wells' novel by altering character names and abandoning direct narrative connections.

A brilliant scientist, Dr. Daniel Westin, created a method to render objects invisible. He destroyed his notes to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands and tested his discovery by turning himself invisible. However, he failed to find a way to regain visibility, and wore a highly realistic mask in public as he searched for a cure.
