Two college seniors, Zeke and Auggie, have never met until they're mistakenly arrested and spend the night in jail together. Despite their vastly different personalities, they discover they share a desire for Auggie's liberated ex-girlfriend, Laina, and a desire for the truth. They become local celebrities after creating a documentary about Laina's lesbian lifestyle, but their second documentary, exposing a professor as a sexual offender, puts them in a difficult situation.
