The Search

In the aftermath of war-torn Berlin, a kind-hearted American soldier embarks on a poignant journey to reunite a young Czech boy with his estranged mother.

A young Czech boy, who survived Auschwitz as a nine-year-old, escapes a refugee center in post-war Germany and is discovered by an American soldier. Meanwhile, the boy's mother, the only survivor of his family, scours refugee centers for her son, hindered by the passage of time, distance, and the sheer number of displaced children.
