In the small town of Cactus Creek, a rancher's murder and a series of disappearances prompt Marshal Tim Rand's investigation. Ernest Moore, who has discovered valuable tin ore, now possesses many of the rancher's deeds. As Marshal Rand follows the trail of clues, including comparing bullets, he discovers a connection to Moore's henchman. Uncovering the ore samples and deeds in Moore's safe, he concocts a plan to apprehend Moore and his accomplices using Art Davis' short wave radio. However, his scheme is foiled when Art is captured, putting a wrench in the Marshal's plans.
