After being released from prison, Joe Mundy is informed by an old convict friend about a hidden stash of gold. As he leaves the prison, he's followed to Glendale, Arizona by Little Brother Williams. Joe befriends Henrietta Clifford, a waitress, after being brutally beaten by Williams.
