Tigers of the Snow background

Tigers of the Snow

Wildlife biologists brave Russia's wilderness to study the critically endangered Siberian Tiger, gathering vital data on its behavior and habitat.

In the wild, only around 300 Siberian Tigers remain, confined to a specific region in far Eastern Russia near the coast. Biologists risk their lives to study these majestic animals, sedating them to measure and collar them. One scientist dedicates himself to raising two orphaned tiger cubs, initially keeping them in a cage before releasing them into a fenced forest enclosure.
