A prostitute named Trish develops strong feelings for a client, Joe, an undercover cop struggling with addiction and a troubled home life. After she's murdered, Joe's life unravels, and he loses everything. Eventually, Trish reappears, transformed and determined to help Joe overcome his struggles. She discovers that one of her clients, Clive Michaels, is the killer and decides to go undercover in prostitution to obtain a confession.
