Triggerman background

Triggerman

Johnny Mack Brown takes on a new role as a hired hand on Lois Benton's ranch, aiming to restore trust after the previous manager's financial scandal led to his imprisonment.

Johnny Mack, a hired hand, is tasked with managing Lois Benton's ranch, previously run by Daley, who is in jail for embezzlement. When real estate agent Kirby tries to buy the ranch, Johnny refuses to cooperate, leading to a fight with Kirby's henchman. Rusty, the foreman, discovers a map fragment revealing the missing payroll's location. Johnny reveals he's an undercover Wells Fargo agent and, with Rusty's help, tricks Kirby into admitting he has the other map half. Lois is kidnapped, and the outlaws demand the map fragment in exchange for her freedom. After escaping and rescuing Lois, Johnny captures the gang, and they discover a written agreement proving Daley's innocence, revealing he's Lois's father.
