Cowboy musicians, The Buckaroos, crash-land in Little Lip, Texas, en route to Hollywood for their film debut. With no hotel rooms available, they sign on as ranch hands at the Bar-B ranch, owned by Sally Barton. As they work, their true identities are discovered, and they become local heroes by helping with the harvest. When Hollywood calls, they must leave, but Bucky finds a way to shoot the film at the ranch, reconciling with Sally in the process.
