In this comedic Civil War-era film, three bumbling soldiers constantly switch uniforms to evade capture. Despite their initial loyalty to the Union, they eventually decide to join the Confederacy, while maintaining their disguise as Union soldiers. When Curly is caught spying, Moe and Larry intervene to save him from execution. The trio escapes with a crucial map and ultimately marry three beautiful southern belles.
