Curtis Calhoun is feeling particularly grumpy about Christmas, and his wish for it to disappear seems to come true. However, his holiday despair is short-lived, as he discovers a mysterious figure, dressed in a red suit, stuck in his chimney on Christmas Eve. As Curtis tries to make sense of the situation, he begins to wonder if the little man is a cunning thief or the real Santa Claus, bearing a special gift for him.
