Two young filmmakers, Malcolm and David, are shooting a documentary about the creepiest place to have a Valentine's Day date in Los Angeles. Despite warnings from their friend in Venice Beach, they explore a deserted zoo in Griffith Park, abandoned since 1966. As they delve deeper, they discover strange Valentine's Day gifts and realize they are being stalked by a killer "date" in the abandoned zoo.
