Two enemy snipers, alone on opposite sides of a remote valley, grow weary of war and their attempts to kill each other. Their plan to meet and consummate their relationship is discovered by American journalists and high-ranking officers, who are determined to stop them from ruining the war. The story culminates in a violent confrontation, where only poetic justice prevails.
