The Pink Panther sneaks into a department store at night, hiding from a janitor who arrives to clean. The panther disguises himself as a tiger-skin rug, causing the janitor to think it's alive and attack it with a rifle. As the chaos ensues, the Pink Panther uses the store's merchandise to play pranks on the janitor, including a convertible chair that bites and attacks him.
