Daniel Boone Brown, a New Yorker, falls victim to a mad scientist's psychological experiments. Dr. Metz's tests leave Daniel with failing health, insomnia, and a nervous disposition, causing him to become increasingly worried and fearful. As the experiments continue, Daniel's life takes a dark turn, culminating in a terrifying and surreal experience that threatens to push him to the brink of suicide.
