A young girl, Natsumi, is forced to spend her fourth-grade year alone in Tokyo after her parents relocate to London. Her life takes an unexpected turn when her aunt, a budding manga writer, moves in and is shocked to discover a baby, Mirai, has arrived on Natsumi's first night of independence.
