In a post-apocalyptic 2046, the remnants of the United Earth government and the Federation of Independent States engage in a bitter struggle. To counter the Federation's numerical advantage, the U.E. recruits mercenary starship crews, known as Merc Force. The series chronicles the misadventures of a hapless group of mercenaries, led by Primo Corvellie and Brice Creed, who rely more on luck than skill.
