Yu-Yu Kondo, a third-year middle school student from Kanazawa City, Japan's Gamo Prefecture, fled home due to his sister's constant involvement in his life.
A 15-year-old boy named Yu-yu Kondou struggles with his eccentric sisters' constant demands. After being forced to crossdress, he runs away and meets Megumi Ookura, who introduces him to Team Blackout, a group that plays the popular card game Cardfight Vanguard. Yu-yu forms strong bonds with his new friends and discovers a thrilling new world of possibilities.
