In the Wild West, Bob Holliday sends his brother Jim to escort Anne back to Deadwood, but Jim falls in love with Anne and they get married on the way. Bob is outraged and joins a group of outlaws to rob stagecoaches, aided by information from the stagecoach line's agent. The town decides to hire a marshal, but Bob suggests his brother, hoping he'll get killed and he can marry his widow. As the outlaws wreak havoc, Jim captures one of them, but they escape, and Bob's plan to marry Jim's widow is foiled. Meanwhile, a warning of an impending Sioux attack forces Jim to send for General Custer and his troops, and the town is set ablaze.
