Ballbuster background

Ballbuster

A former tough-as-nails cop, now a solo private investigator, uses his expertise to take down thugs and bring justice to the streets as "Ballbuster".

Roosevelt "Ballbuster" Prophet, a former big city cop turned private investigator, takes on the notorious Nick Plato, a loan shark and gambler who owes over $2 million to seedy characters. Plato's debt sparks a chain of events as he squeezes his clients, leading to a confrontation with Ballbuster. A reclusive and alcoholic fine artist, living in Plato's building, witnesses a woman's murder, which she reports to the police. When no body turns up, the police suspect the artist's hallucinations. However, she hires Ballbuster to investigate, and he uncovers a web of deceit. The investigation leads to a series of intense showdowns, including a shoot-out with Plato's henchmen, a rescue mission, and hand-to-hand combat. Ultimately, Ballbuster must face off against Plato himself to resolve the case.
