Three men, posing as Billy, Fuzzy, and Jeff, terrorize the countryside, leading Sheriff Masters to put Billy and his friends on the case. The trail leads to Mesa City, an outlaw town run by Jim Stanton, where the impostors are revealed to be three killers in disguise.

Three former prisoners, Billy, Fuzzy, and Jeff, are freed from custody by Stanton, who intends to capitalize on their likenesses by having his accomplices impersonate them to commit a series of robberies and murders.
