Buddhadev, a wealthy restaurateur, lives with his widowed mom in London. After a customer complaint, he makes amends with the woman, Nina, and they fall in love. Despite approval from his mom, Nina's dad rejects their proposal due to their significant age gap. Nina's dad then undertakes a fast unto death, leaving Buddhadev and Nina to decide whether to continue their relationship amidst the crisis.
