Subhash Nagre, a wealthy and influential Bombay resident, is thrilled when his son Shankar returns home with his fiancée Pooja. However, his joy is short-lived as his other son Vishnu's reckless behavior, including an affair with a Bollywood actress, leads to a tragic event. When a Bollywood actor tries to start an affair with the actress, Vishnu shoots him dead in front of witnesses. Subhash banishes Vishnu from the house and he is arrested and charged with murder.
