A gothic high-school comedy with a "Carrie"-like story, "Hair High" follows Cherri and Rod, the high-school king and queen, and Spud, the new kid in town. After Spud offends Cherri and Rod, he becomes Cherri's slave, but they eventually fall in love and secretly plan to attend the prom together. However, their car sinks to the bottom of a lake on prom night, and Rod is able to get away with murder. The following year, the car magically comes to life, and Cherri and Spud's decomposed bodies emerge, covered in insects and animals. They return to the prom, where they reclaim their crowns and exact revenge on Rod.
