The Dementia family, a dysfunctional clan, becomes dot-com millionaires after their high school sons, Salvadore and Carmine, accidentally create an inexpensive and efficient computer operating system and browser. As their wealth grows, they flaunt it by building a lavish mansion and a haunted house for Halloween, which becomes a spectacle for their working-class neighbors. However, their newfound success attracts unwanted attention, and someone begins to try to kill Salvadore Sr., the patriarch of the family, amidst a backdrop of competing software companies, the Long Island mafia, and scheming relatives.
