Two brothers, Jake and Ethan, stumble upon a mysterious satellite crash-landing and sell it to a local scrap dealer, Earl, who's building an 18-foot Golem for the town parade. Unbeknownst to them, the satellite is infected with space bacteria that feeds on metal, causing it to become animated and deadly. The Golem comes to life, sucking the metal from people's bodies with a single touch, and Jake must find a way to stop it and save the town.
