Radio commentator Mark Bradley and his pilot Joe Walker make an emergency landing on a Pacific island, where they meet Dr. Paul Lujan and his three daughters. Lujan, a nuclear scientist, has fled the world to escape its impending doom and doesn't want his visitors to leave, so he destroys their plane. Mark and Venus fall in love, as do Joe and Mercuria, and they work together to build a raft. A solar furnace explosion nearly destroys the island, but it attracts a search plane, giving them hope for rescue.
