Four years after the traumatic events at Amity Island, where a massive great white shark terrorized beachgoers, the island has seemingly returned to normal. A new hotel, the Holiday Inn, has opened its doors, but the peace is short-lived. Beachgoers begin to vanish, and a half-eaten killer whale washes up on shore. As the disappearances continue, Brody's concerns grow, and he suspects another great white shark may be responsible.
