In the midst of a jungle expedition, a group of British soldiers record sounds to mislead enemy troops about their location. As they move deeper into the jungle, they lose contact with their base and can only receive a Japanese broadcast. Discovering they're just 10-15 miles from a Japanese camp, tensions rise among the team, particularly between the cynical Private Bamforth and the disapproving Corporal Johnstone. The capture of a Japanese soldier brings their true personalities to the forefront.
