A former construction worker, Slip, is unable to hold down a job due to his short temper, which ultimately leads to him getting fired from his latest position after decking his boss. His sister, who secured the job for him, is furious. Slip then turns to a new career serving warrants for the District Attorney alongside Sach. This new role allows him to uncover some shady dealings at the construction company and raises concerns about his sister's safety.
