In the Malibu Hills, a wealthy CEO and his daughter prepare for a family visit from Japan when their private estate is attacked by a group of ninja assassins. The CEO is killed, his daughter left for dead, and the only witness is Detective Jack Barrett. The daughter, in shock, repeats a mysterious phrase, "kokushibyu", meaning Black Death.
