Moment of Truth: Why My Daughter?

A mother's relentless pursuit of justice begins after her daughter, a young woman who was forced into prostitution, is brutally murdered and dumped in a dumpster.

A drama based on a true story, it follows the tragic tale of Diana, a teenager who is lured into prostitution by her boyfriend-turned-pimp, A.J. As her situation spirals out of control, A.J. begins to abuse and eventually murders Diana. Her mother, Gayle, is left to pick up the pieces and confront the harsh reality of how the law treats prostitutes, with Diana's murder being classified as "No Humans Involved". Despite the lack of evidence, Gayle works with the police to bring A.J. to justice and, in the process, helps another victim, April, escape the clutches of her pimp and reunite with her mother.
