Jared Martin, a mysterious neighbor, moves in next door to the Hansetts, accompanied by his motorcycle and an intimidating dog. While everyone else is charmed by him, Loren Hansett is uneasy and starts snooping on his nocturnal activities. She becomes convinced that a recent murder is linked to a werewolf who just happens to be her new neighbor. Despite her friends' skepticism, she teams up with her friend Steven to buy silver bullets and ultimately kills the werewolf's dog. With the beast dispatched, she attracts the attention of Redd Tucker, a former TV hunting show host, who believes her. When Steven is attacked and Loren's brother goes missing, she and Redd join forces to take down the lycanthrope before it's too late.
