Till Reiners, a teller at Osthofen Mutual Bank, is kidnapped by a former con named Nappo who robbed the bank. Initially, Till is held hostage, but after Nappo abandons him, Till decides to flee with his captor. As they journey across the border to Holland, Till discovers a shared passion for hard rock music and even helps Nappo with a lucrative deal. However, the police are treating Till as a suspect and accomplice in the robbery, and his wife Miriam sets out to find him, unaware of his involvement with Nappo. Till eventually realizes his old life wasn't so bad and must risk everything to rescue his wife from danger in a dramatic showdown.
