A lone gunman enters École Polytechnique, a Canadian engineering school, on December 6, 1989, and begins a shooting massacre. The event is seen through the perspectives of three individuals: the shooter, who targets female engineering students he blames for his problems; Valérie, a female mechanical engineering student who had a disturbing job interview earlier that day; and Jean-François, Valérie's friend, who tries to help the targeted women.
