A former motorcycle racing star joins a rival team, but finds himself overshadowed by the team's champion. Despite his frustration, he tries to outdo the champion, only to fail. Disillusioned, he leaves racing behind, but later returns to his old team to reclaim his glory and win the Grand Prix.
