In a Louisiana swamp, detective Larry Adams accompanies Scott Warrington to meet his brother-in-law, Dr. Max von Altermann, at an old mansion, shortly after the death of Scott's sister Lila. Von Altermann, a former Nazi, has transformed Lila into a zombie, but she begins to exhibit free will, sparking a battle for control over his undead minions.
