Rocket Science

A coming-of-age story set in Plainsboro, New Jersey, follows Hal Hefner, a high school student who stutters, as he navigates his senior year. After his parents' separation, Hal finds solace in the debate team, recruited by Ginny Ryerson, a talented debater who becomes his partner and mentor. As they work together, Hal falls in love with Ginny, but struggles to reconcile his stutter with his newfound passion for debate.
