In 1993, IRA member Collette is caught in a London tube after leaving a bomb, leading to an arrest. MI-5 Agent Mac proposes a deal: Collette becomes an informer to protect her son, and in return, Mac offers her a new identity after completing her MI-5 work. However, Mac soon discovers that his superior, Kate Fletcher, is using Collette to conceal a mole within the Irish organization, prompting Mac to uncover the informer's identity and safeguard Collette.
