Song of the Gringo background

Song of the Gringo

A detective is tasked with unraveling the mystery behind a string of mine worker fatalities and thefts, only to become embroiled in a complex web of lies when he's wrongly accused of being the perpetrator.

Tex Ritter stars in a remake of the 1930s film "Oklahoma Cyclone", where he plays a young U.S. Deputy Marshal hunting for his missing father. He poses as a wanted outlaw and takes refuge in the hacienda of Don Estaban Valle, where he meets Lolita, the Don's daughter. Lolita hides him from the sheriff and Evans, the manager of the mining properties, who has his own motives.
