Todd and Bruce, a struggling screenwriting duo, get a chance to revive their careers with the help of Todd's wealthy uncle, Sarge, who agrees to fund their project if they complete a worthy horror script within two weeks. The team heads to Shangri-La, an artist's retreat, seeking inspiration, but instead, they find themselves in a deadly situation as the artists around them begin to die off one by one.
