In this Western, The Cisco Kid and his sidekick Pancho stagecoach rob and kidnap Ellen Roth, a woman accused of murder. As they take her to a mission, Ellen reveals a mysterious doctor's role in an elderly woman's suspicious death. Convinced of Ellen's innocence, Cisco sets out to prove it, striking a deal with Bill Hastings to receive a share of his inheritance if Ellen is convicted. After putting Ellen in jail, Cisco and Pancho manipulate the local newspaper to report the capture of the doctor, leading Hastings to plan Ellen's murder before she can testify.
