The Crowd Roars background

The Crowd Roars

A boxer's complicated love life gets entangled with a criminal underworld when he falls for the daughter of a ruthless crime boss, unaware of her father's illicit activities.

Tommy "Killer" McCoy, a talented light heavyweight boxer, was once a church choirboy with a natural talent for fighting. His father, Brian, pushed him into boxing to support his own vices, causing Tommy to have a love-hate relationship with him. Despite being known for his left-handed boxing, Tommy has a powerful right punch. He enters a secret partnership with racketeer Jim Cain, using his left hand to win fights and their mutual goal is to escape their respective rackets. However, complications arise when Tommy falls in love with Sheila, Cain's daughter, who knows nothing about her father's criminal activities.
