Glenn Griffin, his brother Hal, and Sam Kobish escape from prison and randomly select a house in a wealthy Indianapolis suburb to hide. They take refuge with the Hilliard family, who are unaware of their true identities. The Griffins plan to leave by midnight, but when their girlfriend fails to arrive with the promised money, they extend their stay.
