Desperate lovers Harald and Seetha flee from the maharajah's cavalry, who burn a village for showing them hospitality. As they evade capture, Seetha's brother-in-law Dr. Walter Rhode and his sister Irene discover the truth and try to rescue Harald, who has been imprisoned in the palace.
