In 1800s, a woman gives birth to a monstrous child, deemed too ugly to be named, and thus becomes known as the "Unnamable". The creature brutally murders its family and becomes trapped in a vault. Decades later, in 1988, a group of college students, fascinated by the legend of the Unnamable, venture to the vault to uncover its dark secrets.
