In this comedy, a Balkan prince named Henry has two desires: to meet the iconic Lauren Bacall and experience the authentic America. He befriends a taxi driver named Buzz Williams and, unaware that a live microphone is recording their conversation, they engage in a debate about democracy versus monarchy. The broadcast is accidentally transmitted back to the prince's homeland, leading to a surprising outcome: Henry is voted out of his royal position. He decides to leave his royal duties behind and move to Milwaukee to pursue a career in beer sales.
