Veer-Zaara

A rescue pilot with the Indian Air Force, Squadron Leader Veer Pratap Singh, saves the life of a Pakistani girl named Zaara, who had come to India to fulfill her surrogate mother's dying wish. Twenty-two years later, a Pakistani human-rights lawyer named Saamia Siddiqui finds Veer languishing in a Pakistani jail cell, and sets out to uncover the truth about his imprisonment and ensure justice is served.
