We Were Dancing

Upper-crust Europeans find success by masquerading as dignified visitors, indulging in luxurious treatment at the expense of unsuspecting American hosts who are enamored with their aristocratic status.

Two expatriate European nobles, Princess Victoria and Baron Nicholas, have no assets or property except their aristocratic titles. They've made a living by becoming professional houseguests at the homes of wealthy Americans who crave the prestige of hosting titled guests. However, when they want to get married, they realize that married royals are no longer in demand. One of them must take the unconventional step of getting a job to secure their future.
