Alan, a successful TV producer, is about to marry Jennifer, the star of his hit TV show. To celebrate, they plan a destination wedding in Palm Springs, where his college friends reunite. The group includes his best friend Kevin, an attorney who gave up his dreams; his ex-wife Gabrielle, who's going through a mid-life crisis and has taken up with a young woman; and other friends, including a dentist, a blogger, and a couple. Alan is most excited to see Laura, who's attending with her French husband, a famous painter. As the weekend progresses, Alan's wedding plans are threatened.
